A Legal AI Adoption Journey in Germany

Globally, the use of legal technology is on the rise, with more and more firms adopting a variety of solutions across different practice areas and functions. In this ebook, we narrow the focus to look at how one law firm was strategic in its adoption and implementation of a technology it invested in to improve the firm’s workflow and client experience.

Our own Sam Morris, Practice Advisor, sat down with Nina-Marie Hackbarth, Artificial Intelligence Advisor, Germany for Linklaters LLP, to generate a detailed look at:

  • The initial challenges (particularly jurisdiction-specific) when adopting legal tech;
  • Mistakes to avoid when initiating the use of technology in your firm;
  • Upcoming and current challenges in the industry, including the present market downturn; and
  • Ideas on best practices for successful adoption.
An intentional and systematic approach to technology adoption is essential to maximize an organization’s ROI on its technology investments. This guide highlights some of the critical components of an adoption strategy from the perspective of the German legal market.
