How law firms are embracing and prospering through a sector-based approach
Large law firms are increasingly organizing go-to-market efforts by client sector, in the hopes of both communicating to clients in ways that speak to their distinctive issues as well as fostering collaboration across practice groups to deliver more integrated solutions to clients’ complex problems.
To get a clearer sense of the state-of-play of sector-based client service among large law firms, we partnered with Dr. Heidi Gardner, Distinguished Fellow at Harvard Law School, and surveyed 25 AmLaw200 firms to find out more about their sector activities.
Watch our recent webinar with our hosts, Dr. Heidi Gardner and Prof. Andrew von Nordenflycht, to explore the key learnings gleaned from the survey, including the prevalence of sector units in law firms, how are they being implemented, whether they are working—and opportunities for improvement.
